ATELIER JULIENNE
BALLANTREE BATHS
Inside of this charming home in San Jose, California were two 1960s bathrooms in desperate need of remodels. It was finally time. For the Primary Bath, the design was inspired by deep green paired with brass, herringbone brick flooring, and a spa-like feeling. The incredible green quartzite slab in the shower niche ties all elements together with its interesting movement, veins of rust and marbled white patches. For the guest bathroom, a particular Sherwin-Williams color caught our eye: Dried Thyme. We drenched the walls in it and chose black and white tiles and fixtures to create striking contrast.
